Interview with Mr. Milton, Manager Director, MDL INDIA
1. Tell us about your about your company and products?
MDL manufactures die sets, guiding components and compression springs for use in the metal stamping industry. We have grown over the years due to the quality of its products and the commitment and seriousness with which we serve our clients. MDL has been manufacturing die sets and components since the 1970’s and today has manufacturing plants located in Brazil, Mexico, France and India as well as Distribution Centres in Germany and the United States. In India, presently we cater to Tier 1, Tier 2 Suppliers in Automotive Industry, Electrical Segment, Consumer Durables etc.
2. How do tradeshows like Blech India help in enabling industry growth?
Tradeshows are a perfect platform to connect with potential buyers face-to-face as well as learn about latest market trends. We have been participating in Blech Shows -Indian Edition over the last few years and found it extremely useful to reach our target audience, particularly the Press component manufacturers in all segments.
3. How do you plan to go forward in the post-corona world?
The world is changing fast to adapt to the new normal. To move forward in the post-corona world, when it comes to the business scenario we may have to reshape the business strategy in line with market conditions. We are optimistic growth will happen however, in a cautious way.
