30000 to be hired by Ecom Express-logistics solutions provider amid festive boom
According to news reports, technology enabled end-to-end logistics solutions provider to e-commerce industry major, Ecom Express, has announced that it will be creating over 30,000 seasonal employment through September and October months across its Fulfilment Centres, Hubs, Sortation Centres and Delivery Centres. In addition, amid the rising coronavirus cases, more and more consumers are opting for online delivery of goods, further driving demand of delivery.
The move is to cater to the rising demand in the coming months due to the onset of festivity. In the wake of e-commerce boom, the company is gearing up to hire more workforce to meet the demands amid festival sales and increasing preference to doorstep deliveries. The majority of the recruits will be delivery personnel, hub and sorting centre associates and workforce for the warehousing activities.
The seasonal job openings have been created across the nation with 3/4th of the hiring beyond metros and smaller cities such as Ahmedabad, Surat, Vijayawada, Chandigarh, Indore, Patna, Lucknow, Kanpur, Bhopal and Jaipur.
