1. Tell us about your company and products?
Founded in 1992, Magal has become a well known company for superior sheet metal forming machines and solutions. With over 25 years in the market, we have gained significant standing and immense goodwill of hundreds of customers across India, with our premium quality solutions through a wide range of CNC driven engineering machines. We offer a repertoire of CNC enabled machines. With Magal, you have a partner that respects your knowledge, understands your requirements and is dedicated to helping you succeed. A machine tool sales and service company, with over two decades of expertise, Magal Engineering represents some of the finest companies from Germany, Italy, Spain, Taiwan and India. We supply core manufacturing and supporting finishing machines like mechanical presses, polyurethane gasketing machines, nitrogen generators, deburring machines and press accessories (decoilers, straighteners, feeders etc.). We also supply a host of machine consumables, offer polyurethane sealing material and gasketing services, besides consultancy. The expertise has equipped Magal to fulfil needs of customers across the manufacturing spectrum - from sheet metal working, to metal forming, to metal finishing machinery. Over the last two and a half decades, we have offered our expertise and sold machine tools to companies across industries, from automotive, to earth moving machinery, consumer durables, textiles, food processing, machine tools and material handling, and more. Our machines can also be used in shipbuilding, petrochemical, electric power machinery, electronics, telecommunication, enclosures, appliances, packaging, and filters and other industries.
2. How do you plan to go forward in the post-corona world?
The pandemic has adversely affected the demand, supply and workforce availability at a time. This poses a challenge to the manufacturing sector. Ensuring seamless deliveries and supply chain while maintaining the rigorous caution against COVID-19, will impact the manufacturing processes. Magal, being a supplier of high tech machinery for core manufacturing in sheet metal sector as well as a range of supporting and finishing machines, has to cater to the new requirements of customers. We bring in to the industry the following such as automated machinery from the best in-class manufacturers across the world, which reduces human interaction and automation and consultancy for existing machinery. Post-COVID some manufacturing companies may face financial crunch. To supports laser cutting machine users, we have started a rental scheme for nitrogen generators. This scheme brings down immediate capex requirements without compromising production or quality. We are also upgrading our service teams with accelerated training. In addition, all safety precautions are taken for our staff as per regulations.
