Parkside introduces new sustainable packaging portfolio
Recently, Flexible packaging company, Parkside announced the launch of a new range of sustainable packaging solutions that resonates with the growing consumer’s concern. The newly launched portfolio will enable recyclability of the company’s existing range of flexible packaging designs, which is used across a wide range of markets including food and drink.
The new range also incorporates the company’s award-winning collection of compostable packaging solutions, Park2Nature. According to the company, they are very much aware of the importance of protecting the environment and reducing consumer dependence on single-use plastics. Nonetheless, packaging in all formats and materials is sustainable, it helps in protecting the environment by preserving goods further minimising waste and energy.
The new sustainable packaging portfolio from Parkside comprises three variations of its Recoflex technology; a high barrier, single polymer laminate, suitable for recycling processes, which can be manufactured with paper, polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE). In addition, Recoflex can be widely recycled and used in a wide range of applications such as pouches and flow wraps.
