1. Tell us about your company and products?
We (www.manleo.com) indigenously design, develop and manufacture 3D Datum Finder & 3D Tool Setters, that are used in CNC MILLING MACHINES, CNC BORING, TAPPING CENTERS. We have been serving the requirements of the industry since 1998. Our probes help in reducing offset measuring time by 70% and have a typical payback period of 2-3 months. We are headquartered in Bangalore, India.
2. How do platforms like AMTEX help in enabling the industry growth?
AMTEX with its international and domestic footprint is one of the best platforms to do business networking be it with suppliers, end users, channel partners or OEMs. It is a one stop for connecting with multiple stakeholders in the ecosystem.
3. In the recent news -B2B exhibitions are permitted. What’s your take on this?
Though post COVID-19, there has been a change in way business operate, network and collaborate, with digital exhibitions reflecting this in a big way, however, physical exhibitions cannot be completely replaced by digital platforms. Machine tools industry has many products that are touch and feel before making decision to invest. Also, many of the products are capital intensive, and work best when there are good business relations in place. All of these are achievable in B2B exhibitions and hence, we welcome this move. In the same breath, we all need to take care of the new norms of maintaining social distancing, masks, sanitisation to ensure safety is not compromised.
