Liquor brand switches to sustainable packaging

According to news reports, Pernod Ricard-owned Beefeater London Dry gin has launched more sustainable packaging design that will help the brand to save 410 tonnes of plastic every year. The new bottle is made from recyclable glass and its shape has been inspired by London bricks. In addition, its plastic cap has been replaced with an embossed, aluminium cap and the label has also been changed from PVC to paper.

The award winning gin remains the same, however, the packaging has evolved to pave way for sustainability. The new design has been good for both bartenders and consumers and the company with sustainability on mind is taking the brand to the next step in its journey with a natural evolution for today’s gin enthusiasts. The new design will be rolled out globally from this month (January 2021) and will cover the whole Beefeater range, with the exception of Beefeater 24.

With sustainability taking centre-stage, many brands all across the world are shifting towards recyclable packaging solution paving way for a greener environment and a better tomorrow.
