Tell us about your company and product profile.

HP Specialty Printing Systems (SPS) releases HP’s leading Thermal Inkjet (TIJ) technology to partners who satisfy a variety of end user needs in many markets. More specifically, SPS sells TIJ cartridges, enablers, and components to OEMs, who design, manufacture, and market finished “printers” to customers, who print and dispense fluids for multiple applications. With dedicated OEM-partner relationships, SPS is driving innovation for labelling and packaging applications for a wide range of vertical markets, including coding and marking on primary and secondary packaging, in addition to on-demand desktop labels for a range of applications.

Through SPS’ OEMs and OEM distributors in India, SPS will be demoing several aqueous and solvent inks for packaging coding and marking applications. HP inks are specifically engineered and tuned to the features of HP genuine print cartridges providing our customers the highest quality products that are guaranteed to work out-of-the-box every time. Each ink is formulated with specific applications and substrates in mind. The breadth of HP inks enables you to print on a wide range of substrates including some of the most challenging films used in the food packaging industry.

Which are your target markets and which industries are the relevant buyers?

The main market SPS sells into is primary and secondary coding and marking. HP Thermal Inkjet 2.5 technology provides high-resolution 2D, QR codes, and text across a wide range of substrates at high speeds with a no maintenance, easy-to-use, snap-in and snap-out configuration. Especially the GMP certified HP 2590 solvent print cartridge can be used to print coding and marking text and bar codes on food and pharmaceutical packaging, in compliance with applicable regulations and commonly referenced industry standards.

How is your company and brand dealing with the existing COVID-19 crisis?”
